backstory..

I saw this cute post on Pigtails and Bow ties and knew I had to do something similar!

Was it planned or unplanned? Totally planned!
How did you find out you were pregnant? We had been trying for several months - I had only taken a pregnancy test one other time and it was negative. For whatever reason on a random Tuesday night after our Kickball game I told B that we should go by Walgreens and get a test.. he was like.. Ok! Got home and saw an instant yes! I went into the living room and gave Brent the infant Titans Jersey that I had bought almost a year prior!! He was so shocked and happy!! I took 3 additional tests.. all were positive!!

How did you tell your parents? I wanted to tell my parents 1st - but they live 9 hours away.. so it had to be via telephone! I called my mom and told her that I found the cutest shirt for her and to stay by her phone and I'd text her a picture. I told her to call me as soon as she saw it. So, I did - she calls and was like.. yea.. I'm hot! .. and I'm a grandmom (she has 2 other grandchildren already..) and then it hit her! She said "am I a hot NEW grandma??" - of course!!! My parents were SUPER excited!

Next we were off to tell B's parents! By this time it was 10p at night - but I insisted in driving over and telling them right that instant! We called on the way and said our power had been out for hours and we needed to spin the night - they bought it! Once we got there and were all sitting in the living room Brent just tossed his dad the Jersey - and I gave Jan the shirt! They both freaked out!! Super super excited!

It was very hard to sleep that night - and even harder to function the next day!

Will you find out the gender? Heavens yes!

Baby names.. do you have them picked out? Will you tell anyone? I've had the girl first name and middle name picked out for a long long time and I'm in love with it! We had a boy name picked out for years - but I think we talked it up so much that now we are over it! We've got some options.. but its really totally undecided. We are pretty sure of the boy middle name though..

Have you bought anything for baby yet? Besides the jersey - no. Once we find out the gender.. it will be all downhill.
