Well, we are 2 weeks in! I'm typing one handed because someone wants to be held :)
a few quick thoughts...
Breastfeeding is really painful.. little miss sticks her bottom lip inside.. huge no no!
She poops and pees constantly.
I kiss her.. maybe 30 times a day!
Her stump fell off yesterday!!! Now we can take real baths!
Sleeping in 2.5 hour stretches is interesting. You adapt.
I could sit and look at her all day long... love love love her.
I miss Brent so much when he's at work.. lame I know.. I think I'm just adjusting to sharing him and re-falling in love after seeing him be such a sweet dad.
I miss my parents sooooooo bad- we had them here for a super short week.. it was amazing.

Sooo glad to hear you and baby A and hubby are doing soooo well!!!! I hear it is a pretty insane adjustment but everyone seems to always handle it pretty well :) you are no exception!!!! So very happy for you and your family's new adventure!!!! xoxo!

ReplyDeleteAwww what a sweet photo. I agree, seeing the husbands with their little girls does make you fall in love with them all over again. and it will get easier. I honestly thought the the first 2 weeks were the hardest and from now on out it will be better.

This pretty much summed me up at two weeks also!! Addie is gorgeous!! Congrats!Enjoy it all because time flies.. My baby girl is six weeks already!
